Lee Lumber was one of the first yards to stock engineered wood products. We were a distributor for Mitek EWP, a company that was later purchased by Louisiana-Pacific and still honors the original relationship.
Lee Lumber is the only Chicago area lumber yard to purchase directly from Trim-Joist, the original trimmable truss.
Lee Lumber became one of three distributors of Marvin Windows in the metro Chicago area when Marvin was virtually unknown in Chicago and had very little market share. We have been one of their largest dealer in Chicago for over 20 years running and are one of their largest nationwide.
